To connect via FTP to your web hosting using FileZilla, follow these steps:
1. Open the FileZilla program and in the upper left corner, in the icon bar, access the “Site Manager”
2. Click on “New site”
3. Indicate the name of the site you want to connect to via FTP
4. Check the data to connect to your FTP account in our ‘User Area’ under ‘Your Services’ -> ‘Detail (of the hosting service)’ -> ‘Publish Website’
5. Fill in the following fields:
- Host: Check the data in the ‘User Area‘ (e.g. ftp.your-domain.com)
- Protocol: FTP – File Transfer Protocol
- Encryption: Use explicit FTP over TLS if available
- Logon Type: Normal
- User: Your user – Check the data in the ‘User Area‘
- Password: Your password – Check the data in the ‘User Area‘
6. Go to “Transfer Options” and make the following changes:
- Transfer mode: select “Passive“
- Check the box “Limit the number of simultaneous connections“
- Specify the maximum number of connections: 4
Then press ‘Connect’
