Set up a SpaceWWW IMAP account in Outlook 2025

1. Open Outlook and add a new account

  1. Launch Outlook 2025.
  2. Go to File → Add Account.
  3. Enter your full email address (e.g. name@yourdomain.com).
  4. Click Advanced options → check Let me set up my account manually → Next.

2. Select account type

  1. Choose IMAP.

3. Enter IMAP settings (Incoming mail)

In the IMAP configuration screen:

  • Incoming mail server (IMAP):
    mail.yourdomain.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encryption: SSL/TLS
  • Username: your full email address (name@yourdomain.com)
  • Password: your mailbox password

4. Enter SMTP settings (Outgoing mail)

  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP):
    mail.yourdomain.com
  • Port: 587
  • Encryption: STARTTLS 
  • Authentication: required (use the same email + password as above)

5. Advanced options in Outlook

  • Ensure “My outgoing server requires authentication” is enabled.
  • Use same username/password as incoming mail.

6. Finish setup

  • Outlook will test the connection (send/receive).
  • If both succeed, click Done.
  • Send yourself a test email to confirm.

Tips / Troubleshooting

  • If mail.yourdomain.com doesn’t work, try looking up your IMAP/SMTP email settings on our user area.
  • Double-check your mailbox password in the Space WWW control panel if Outlook says “password incorrect”.
  • If you see SSL certificate warnings, make sure you’re connecting to the exact hostname provided
