Here’s how you can set up an IMAP email account on an iPhone running iOS 18:
- Open Settings
Go to Settings → scroll down and tap Mail. - Add Account
- Tap Accounts.
- Select Add Account.
- If your provider isn’t listed (like iCloud, Google, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL), tap Other.
- Choose “Add Mail Account”
Under the “Mail” section, tap Add Mail Account. - Enter Account Info
Fill in the following:- Name → The name you want displayed on outgoing emails.
- Email → Your full email address.
- Password → The password for your email account.
- Description → A label for this account (e.g., “Work Email”).
- Select IMAP
At the top, choose IMAP (instead of POP). - Enter Server Settings
You’ll need the details from your email provider. Common fields:- Incoming Mail Server (IMAP):
