Set up an IMAP email account on an iPhone running iOS 18

Here’s how you can set up an IMAP email account on an iPhone running iOS 18:

1. Open Settings
   Go to Settings → scroll down and tap Mail.
2. Add Account
   • Tap Accounts.
   • Select Add Account.
   • If your provider isn’t listed (like iCloud, Google, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL), tap Other.
3. Choose “Add Mail Account”
   Under the “Mail” section, tap Add Mail Account.
4. Enter Account Info
   Fill in the following:
   • Name → The name you want displayed on outgoing emails.
   • Email → Your full email address.
   • Password → The password for your email account.
   • Description → A label for this account (e.g., “Work Email”).

5. Select IMAP

7. Enable Mail (and Notes if desired)
