Configure Windows Mail for email:

1. Open Windows Mail and click “Tools -> Accounts”

2. Click “Add”

3. Select “Email Account”

4. Enter your display name, then click “Next”

5. Choose IMAP as the incoming mail server. Enter “mail” and your domain name for both incoming and outgoing servers (e.g., mail.your-domain.com). Check “My server requires authentication”. Click “Next”.

6. In “Account Name” enter your email address (email@domain.com). Enter your password. Click “Next”.

7. Your email is configured. Click “Finish” to exit.

8. Click “Tools -> Accounts” again. Highlight the new email account and click “Properties”

9. Click the “Servers” tab to verify the values are correct. Ensure “My server requires authentication” is checked. Click the “Advanced” tab. Verify the values and uncheck “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)”

10. Click the IMAP tab. In the “Root folder path” field, type INBOX. (Include a period after INBOX in capital letters.)

11. You’ve set up your email account. Test sending and receiving emails. Contact us if you have problems.

IMPORTANT: For IMAP to sync folders, they must have the same name on all devices. “Inbox” in Outlook and “Incoming Mail” on your iPhone won’t work; they must match.
